- Step 1: Installing the LPC pin header
First prepare the header by removing pin 4 with pliers.
Then place the pin header in the motherboard and secure it with some tape.
Turn around the motherboard and place the LPC rebuild board on the motherboard and solder all the points seen in the picture below:
- Step 2: solder your D0 and ground point.
You can put the 2 wires through the 2 unused LPC holes to the bottom of the board and solder them to the points on the LPC rebuild board.
Solder the white wire to the D0 point on the LPC rebuild board and the black wire to the GND point of the LPC rebuild board
- Step 3: Install the chip on the motherboard
Install the chip with the program pins to the left and connect the connector of the D0/GND wire to the chip.
- Step 4: re-assemble the xbox.
Just do the steps of this guide in reverse order: Crack open that Xbox
- Step 5: boot your xbox and you will be greeted with the Prometheos OS.
