Update on my XATA results: I seem to have been able to duplicate the Startech IDE2SAT2 + Samsung B issues with the Nemesis XATA + Samsung B I was getting the exact same behaviour using both adapters, im starting to think its a flaw in the Marvel 88SA8052-NNC2 chip itself This is just one example tho and we will need further confirmation to prove its also a problematic combo Checkout the thread for video examples and comparisons of my full testing methodology

Recent batch of speed testing data, but it works for this purpose aswel. The first 2 drives have already been tested but under a different Cerbios version and method of loading the dashboard. Whatever your experiences are with this combo, mainly the Startech IDE2SAT2 + Samsung SDG-605B (Ver. B). Many lower capacity drives have been tested without issue, would love to get to the bottom of this mystery. ::Report Format:: Xbox Version: IDE Adaptor: DVD Drive model: Modchip: BIOS: UDMA: Storage Type / Size: Dashboard: Notes: ::Possible Reported Issues:: Founchki — 5/16/23 Error 7 on boot Toxic_Tripod0 — 4/17/24 dvd drive will be busy on first boot meaning it will not read discs at all on stock bios it will just not read the disc on xbmc4gamers it will give a disc busy error restarting the console fixes the issues the problem only happens on first boot you can even bypass the issue on first boot by starting the console with the disc inside and it will load the game before the dashboard boots you can also bypass the issue on first boot by going to xblast os first then booting cerbios or stock dashboard from there

True Crime NYC needs both patched and run as extracted. its one of 2 oddball games like that, the other being "Gun" If you mount your iso on the xbox, copy that virtual disc with DVD2XBOX with patching turned on, making sure DVD2XBOX is spitting out an extracted copy and i believe that should fix it.
