Winbond W49F020T-90B programming with the TL866 II Plus Programmer

Alright. this is a pretty easy task. So fire up the software and lets dive into it.

As shown in the image below, go to the drop down menu and select "Select IC(S)" and then click on "Search and Select IC(S)"

A new window will show up, with which you already familiar with I suppose.

Search for "AM29F002BT" (1) and then select "AM29F002BT @ TSOP32" (2) - See image blow.

After that you find your self back in the main window. In there select "Select IC(S)" again and then click on "Add IC by user" as shown in the image below.

A new fancy box will show up like the one in the image (you guessed it) below.

In the new fancy box you have to change some values as marked in the red highlighted section (1)

Change the Model to : W49F020T-90B

Manufacture to : Winbond

Device ID to : DA8C

Username to : What ever you fancy

Note to : XBox TSOP 32 (But you can add here what ever you want to remember what this is for)

When that's done, hit the "Add New" button.

It should then look like in the image below.

So basicly thats it. Now double click on the new entrie as shown .... 

You will find your self back in the main window. 

From now on you can flash the W49F020T-90B from here with no problem. You don't have to disable ID check or pin detect or what ever.

Blow 3 more images which shows the read and write from and to the TSOP went as expected.

 

So that's it. Pretty easy as I have said.

And for the lazy peeps out there, I have attached a W49F020T-90B.ULI file which you could import. I have also attached the XgproV1288_Setup which is the latest version by date (14.4.2025) just in case.
